Cerebral palsy is the most common motor disability of childhood Spastic cerebral palsy accounts for 60 to 70 of cases Research has shown that acupuncture can improve the quality of life of children with cerebral palsy but the mechanism of action remains unclear This study aims to determine the effectiveness of acupuncture for treatment of children with spastic cerebral palsy and to assess the value of multimodal magnetic resonance imaging MRI and ambulatory electroencephalogram EEG for evaluation of treatment effect This randomized controlled trial will enroll a total of 72 children with CP from 2 hospitalsJiangsu Province Hospital of Chinese Medicine and Nanjing State Hospital of Pediatricwith 36 participants from each hospital Patients will be randomly assigned 11 ratio to receive Tonifying Kidney and Invigorating Brain acupuncture treatment plus standardized physical rehabilitation treatment treatment group or only standardized physical rehabilitation control group All participancal analysis This research is being conducted to assess the value of acupuncture as an intervention for rehabilitation of children with spastic cerebral palsy and also to evaluate the usefulness of multimodal MRI and ambulatory EEG for identifying changes in brain function This trial is registered with Chinese Clinical Trials Register ChiCTR 1900024546 registered 15 July 2019 retrospective registration httpwwwchictrorgcnshowprojaspxproj35763 This trial is registered with Chinese Clinical Trials Register ChiCTR 1900024546 registered 15 July 2019 retrospective registration httpwwwchictrorgcnshowprojaspxproj35763 Chronic conditions are placing a serious burden on individuals as well as the health care system Health coaching HC has emerged as a promising approach that can support effective lifestyle interventions for chronic conditions However until now there is no particularly comprehensive systematic review of HC impact on a chronic condition from the angle of patient improvement and detail coaching characteristics reported To synthesize available studies on the efficacy and current status of HC interventions on the health of chronically ill adult patients The literature search will be conducted for trials published in English within the past four years Electronic databases CINAHL Cochrane Library Embase MEDLINE and Scopus will be searched with keywords describing HC for chronic diseases Randomized controlled trials that compare HC interventions to conventional care or other alternative therapies will be included Data extraction will be conducted by two reviewers independently and enrolled trials will be evaluated for quality and bias assessment If appropriate metaanalysis will be conducted on the last stage of the review otherwise the study findings will be described narratively The software Review Manager Revman version 535 provided by the Cochrane Collaboration will be applied for the metaanalysis This is the first study to comprehensively explore the effectiveness and current status of HC intervention for patients with chronic conditions Study findings from this review will advance the appropriate utilization of coaching practice by determining whether HC is effective and feasible among patients with chronic disease If proven effective this approach may be applied more broadly through public health interventions The current status findings will also provide evidence to inform decisions for integrating HC interventions into the current management pathway for individuals with chronic conditions PROSPERO CRD42020153280 PROSPERO CRD42020153280 The objective of this study is to examine the effectiveness and safety of electroacupuncture EA in the treatment of urinary incontinence UI in patients with spinal cord injury SCI All potential studies will be retrieved from the electronic databases of MEDLINE EMBASE Cochrane Library PsycINFO Web of Science CBM and China National Knowledge Infrastructure from origin of each database up to January 31 2020 see more Additionally we will check other resources such as Google scholar dissertations conference proceedings and reference lists of included studies No language and publication date limitations will be considered in the literature resources search All randomized controlled trials using EA for the treatment of UI in patients with SCI will be included Two independent investigators will perform study selection data extraction and study quality assessment If any conflicts occur we will invite a third investigator to solve them Cochrane risk of bias will be used for study quality assessment and RevMan 53 software will be employed for statistical analysis This study will summarize the most recent evidence to assess the effectiveness and safety of EA for the treatment of UI in patients with SCI The results of this study will provide helpful evidence to determine whether EA is effective and safety for the treatment of UI in patients with SCI or not PROSPERO CRD42020165562 PROSPERO CRD42020165562 The aim of this systematic review and metaanalysis is to assess effectiveness and safety of Chinese Herbs Medicine Huatan Huoxue Prescription HTHXP as complementary therapy in treating bronchiectasis The following databases will be searched Embase Cochrane PubMed China National Knowledge Infrastructure Wan Fang and VIP database from their inception to April 1 2020 We performed and completed metaanalysis and methodologic evaluation by Review Manager 533 and statas 120 software Study selection data extraction quality assessment and assessment of risk bias will be performed by 2 reviewers independently Odds ratios and correlative 95 confidence intervals will be calculated to present the association between the HTHXP and western medicine treatment using Review Manager version 53 when there is sufficient available data The results will be disseminated through a peerreviewed journal publication These systematic review findings will summarize uptodate evidence for that HTHXP is more effective and safe as adjunctive treatment for patients with bronchiectasis
